I’ve been involved in taxes for lengthier then I care to admit, both on the individualized side (all my employed life-time!!) and from a legal standpoint since satisfying the bar and following up on tax law. I’ve furnished a lot of advice and corrected a lot of wrongs, and what you’ve put up makes good sense. The more people know the better they’ll be outfitted to deal with the tax man and Uncle Sam.

Great post about Coverdell, we have used them in the past with good results. The tax savings are substantial.

Not sure if I agree about long term savings accounts but I need to do some research on my financial services blog

Don’t forget the IRS will open their e-filing system to individuals wanting to file 2009 income tax returns on Friday, January 15th. If you have your necessary tax documents by then, you can get an early jump on filing your taxes.
