Nancy H. Wehunt, Enrolled Agent
Nancy serves with our tax defense team, and she also heads up the tax preparation team. Nancy is attentive to the 'small' details of a client's case that may be beneficial to winning against the IRS.
Nancy is the daughter of a manufacturing business owner, which helps her understand the hard work and struggles which business owners experience. She is not afraid to work hard to accomplish a goal, and she illustrates this with her work on our client's cases. She graduated Summa cum Laude (with much honors) with a B.A. in Accounting from Mercer University. As an Honor Graduate she had an overall 4.0 grade point average (GPA).
Nancy is an Enrolled Agent in good standing and is authorized by the IRS to represent taxpayers who have federal tax problems. For the past 25 years Nancy has been actively involved in the both the private and public areas of accounting. She has worked in many capacities within the accounting departments of corporations. Over the decades she has served in the capacity of Corporate Controller, Plant Controller, Group Corporate Controller, Director of Finance and others roles.
For 10 of the 25 years, while owning her own public tax accounting practice and while managing a CPA firm, Nancy provided audit, tax and accounting services for hundreds of corporations, partnerships and individuals in the areas of residential construction, printing, manufacturing, distribution, retail, restaurant and professional services industries.
Nancy truly displays grace under pressure. The IRS doesn’t intimidate Nancy. She meets them head-on in a diplomatic manner. She attempts to 'kill' them with kindness.
For fun over the last several years she has bought older homes and she remodels them in her spare time. I've heard she is a good painter.
Frances Ammerman
We’re quite pleased that our clients really like our services, and one reason they love us is because of Frances. Our clients don’t just like Frances, they love her, and they are not shy about telling Jeff about it. Frances is very well organized and has a strong work ethic. She takes pride in performing her job right - the first time. In addition, she has a big heart that helps her truly empathize with her clients.
Prior to coming to the law firm, Frances had semi-retired after working for nearly three decades with a major telecommunications company. She had successfully performed many roles within that company, including serving as a project manager for a national rollout of a new software product, and supervising other staff persons.
Frances and her husband enjoy living in beautiful rural north Georgia where they tend their very small flock of laying hens who supply them with fresh eggs. Frances has given each of the chickens a pet name.
Robin Tresslar
Robin serves in the firm's tax defense and tax preparation areas. For years she has assisted with clients who have severe financial difficulties. She has also assisted in tax bankruptcies against the IRS.
Robin is a naturally inquisitive person who likes to learn new things. She has earned an A.S. degree in Applied Accounting.
Robin Sisson
Robin serves our clients in the law firm's accounting department. She is the customer service contact person for clients regarding fees for legal or accounting services. Her background includes studies of accounting, payroll and income tax fundamentals.
Robin is also Jeff's personal assistant. She is not afraid to tackle almost any task Jeff assigns to her. She's a real bull dog and is very outgoing.
Robin is an avid sports fan, and she is especially of her hometown high school's sports teams. She also occasionally attends local dirt track car races. She also enjoys attending church.
Dale Ellis
Dale serves as public communication coordinator. He assists Jeff in communicating with the many good people who contact our law firm each day seeking help with their tax problems and information about our tax law firm.
Dale take pleasure in knowing that we are helping people get their lives back in order so they can sleep better at night. Dale is a soft-spoken family man who loves spending time with his wife and son.
Laura Fouts
Jeff's wife Laura serves in the law firm's accounting department. She is the law firm's internal bookkeeper, accounts payable and payroll coordinator. She performs vital functions that don't often get noticed. She holds a degree from Dalton State College. Laura likes to read the Bible and loves ladies Bible studies.
